Best Years, An Afternoon of Storytelling with Susan Newton

The art of storytelling connects us and allows us to shape our understanding of the world, expanding our beliefs and behaviors. Stories have the power to inspire us, bridge cultural and generational gaps, fostering empathy and understanding. We are most fortunate that beloved CBI member and masterful Storyteller Susan Newton will present a special program of stories on Weds, May 28th from 2-3PM in honor of the Jewish observances throughout the month of May and early June: Yom HaShoa, Yom Hazikaron, Yom HaAtzama'ut and the Festival of Shavuot! Best year CBI members, let’s join Rabbi Greenbaum at Baja Cantina on Wednesday, June 25 at noon as we enjoy an afternoon of dining together. Stories about past interactions (serious and funny) with the rabbi will be shared and enjoyed as this will be during his last week serving as our congregation’s rabbi. Rumor has it the rabbi will share his own plans for retirement. Will he attend future Best Years events as a participant? Will he really finish writing a book he started years ago?
